The next band to join Rock la Mures for next year’s edition and promising to tear our stage apart in the most technical and explosive way possible is Avoid Humanity. The band was founded in 2017, in Bucharest, and consists of ex-Deadeye Dick and Spinecrusher band members. Their style is a powerful mixture of death metal and hardcore. In other words, if their music became a serious job in Romania, these guys would be the craftsmen you would call to change your deathcore around the house. (pun intended)

During 2020, the band’s album “Apex of Impurity” was well received by the specialized press, and the video of “Worldeater” was recommended by Metal Injection in the Underground Buzz section. Then, their concert “Live at Bran Castle” was taken over by Audiotree International, the Youtube channel where bands like Greta van Fleet, Textures, and The Devil Wears Prada made their debut. On a cross-country tour last year, Avoid Humanity showed off their deathcore chops, culminating in their first gig over the border at the Feelgood festival in Serbia.
